Sandboxed code execution via ANGLE out-of-bounds write
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Out-of-bounds write in ANGLE in Google Chrome on Windows before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to execute code inside the sandbox. The restricted Chromium issue identifies ANGLE as the locus but does not disclose the malformed graphics input or erroneous write operation. Exploitation requires a Windows user to load a crafted HTML page; resulting code execution remains confined to the renderer sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
