Sandbox escape via Mobile use-after-free
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Use-after-free in Mobile in Google Chrome for iOS before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code outside the sandbox. The Mobile component retains or dereferences an object after its memory has been freed when processing crafted network traffic; Google has not disclosed the affected function or object lifecycle. No authentication is required, and successful exploitation escapes the browser sandbox; the public Chromium issue exposes no further technical detail.
