System access restriction bypass via improper validation
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Improper input validation in Google Chrome's Network component before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to bypass system access restrictions. The public record identifies the Network component but does not disclose which input is accepted incorrectly or which validation operation fails. Exploitation requires a crafted HTML page and prior compromise of the renderer process, after which the flaw crosses restrictions enforced outside that renderer.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
