System-access restriction bypass via malformed Workers input
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Improper input validation in Google Chrome Workers before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to bypass system access restrictions. Google identifies the locus only as Workers; linked bug details remain restricted, so the rejected input and validation operation are undisclosed. Exploitation requires a crafted HTML page and prior compromise of the renderer process, after which the attacker crosses restrictions intended to contain renderer access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
