Origin-policy bypass via StorageAccessAPI authorization failure
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Incorrect authorization in Google Chrome before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to bypass web origin policy via crafted HTML. The flaw is in StorageAccessAPI, but Google has not published the authorization check or operation that mishandles the crafted request. Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
