Code execution in Halo 2.25.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run commands through malicious plugin installation. The plugin management feature accepts a user-supplied plugin for installation or update and loads its executable code into the Halo process. The operation requires an account authorized to manage plugins; successful use executes commands with the Halo process permissions.
