Cross-origin data disclosure via uninitialized WebXR resource
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Uninitialized resource use in WebXR in Google Chrome before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to leak cross-origin data via crafted HTML. Google identifies an uninitialized WebXR resource, but the linked Chromium issue is restricted and does not disclose the responsible code path or operation. Exploitation requires a remote attacker to persuade a user to open the crafted page, and the documented consequence is disclosure of data belonging to another origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
