Sandboxed code execution via V8 type confusion
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Type confusion in Google Chrome before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code inside the sandbox via crafted HTML. The flaw is in V8, but Google has not disclosed the affected code path or the incompatible-type operation that processes the page. A user must load the crafted page; successful exploitation gains code execution only inside Chrome's sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
