Sandboxed code execution via V8 race condition
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 25, 2026
Race condition in V8 in Google Chrome before 152.0.7977.65 allows remote attackers to execute code inside the sandbox via crafted HTML. Google identifies the locus only as V8; the issue record and release bulletin do not disclose which shared resource is unsafely synchronized. Exploitation requires a user to open attacker-controlled HTML, and successful exploitation remains inside Chrome's sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
