Victim account fixation via unbound OIDC state
Published Aug 25, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
OIDC login CSRF in Liketrek TREK 3.0.22 and earlier allows remote attackers to log victims into attacker-controlled accounts. The OIDC login endpoint stores state only in a process-global map, and the callback accepts any mapped state without binding it to the initiating browser. OIDC must be enabled, and a victim must open an attacker-supplied callback URL; the resulting TREK session operates in the attacker’s account.
