Authenticated internal-service probing via insufficient site URL validation

Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026

Blind SSRF in Matomo Analytics 5.11.2 allows remote authenticated users to probe internal services via site-content detection. SiteContentDetector::requestSiteResponse fetches the configured main_url without adequately rejecting internal destination addresses after resolution. Exploitation requires enabled internet features, site-administrator control of that URL, and view permission to trigger detection; the blind request supports indirect disclosure through observable side channels, not direct access to response bodies.
