Root command execution via unneutralized SNMP values
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 10, 2026
OS command injection in Okta Access Gateway before 2026.9.1 allows local users to execute arbitrary commands with root privileges. A privileged script constructs OS commands from SNMP configuration values without neutralizing shell metacharacters. Exploitation requires valid appliance management credentials, an SSH session from the local network, and access to the SNMP configuration menu.
