Administrator browser script execution via crafted certificate
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Stored XSS in WatchGuard Dimension before 2.3.1 allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another administrator's browser. The Trusted CA configuration stores crafted certificate data and later serves it without neutralizing executable script content. Exploitation requires one administrator to save the certificate and another authenticated administrator to view the affected configuration, confining execution to the victim's browser session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
