Authenticated Fleet metadata disclosure via authorization bypass
Published Sep 1, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Missing authorization in Elastic Kibana 9.0.0 through 9.4.5 and 9.5.0 allows remote authenticated users to read Fleet deployment metadata. Kibana fails to enforce feature authorization and default-space access controls when serving that metadata to minimally privileged Elasticsearch users. Exposure requires active native agentless connector infrastructure and Fleet policies in the default Kibana space.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
