Stored XSS via unescaped error-link href
Published Jun 17, 2026 · Updated Jun 17, 2026
Stored XSS in firimar WP Magnific Popup through 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a visitor's browser. The image-load error handler reads an Author-controlled href attribute and inserts its value into the DOM without sanitization or escaping. Author-level access is required to publish the crafted link, and a visitor must open the post and click it before the payload runs in that visitor's session.
