Adjacent service enumeration via unrestricted FTP test
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Server-side request forgery in WatchGuard Dimension 2.0 through 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to scan adjacent network services. The FTP Server Test configuration accepts a privileged user-supplied host and makes a server-originated connection without restricting the target to an expected FTP server. Administrative privileges are required; the test result reveals whether services on systems reachable from the appliance accept connections.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
