Adjacent service enumeration via email server test
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Server-side request forgery in WatchGuard Dimension 2.0 through 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to enumerate adjacent network services. The Email Server Test configuration accepts an administrator-supplied server address and port, then directs Dimension to connect without blocking adjacent destinations. Privileged configuration access is required, and the observable impact is limited to discovering exposed services on systems reachable from the appliance.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
