CVE-2026-7847Public exploit

Uploaded-file disclosure via predictable file identifiers

Published May 5, 2026 · Updated May 5, 2026

Information disclosure in Langchain-Chatchat 0.3.1.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read uploaded files. The _get_file_id function in openai_routes.py Base64-encodes the upload purpose, date, and user-supplied filename without adding a random component. An authenticated user on the local network must guess those values, after which the file-content endpoint returns the targeted file.
