Authenticated arbitrary file deletion via unvalidated logo path
Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026
Path traversal in Faveo Helpdesk 2.0.0 through 2.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to delete server-accessible files. The deleteLogo handlers pass the data1 query parameter directly from the request to unlink() without validation or confinement to the logo directory. An active administrator session is required; deletion is limited by PHP process permissions and can interrupt service or destroy data.
