Authenticated command execution via crafted sniffer filter
Published Sep 28, 2026 · Updated Sep 28, 2026
OS command injection in SUSE NeuVector 5.6.0 through 5.6.1 lets remote authenticated users execute commands via packet-capture filters. Improper handling of a crafted sniffer filter allows command syntax to reach the privileged enforcer container. Access requires namespaced Runtime Policies write permission or NeuVector's internal gRPC certificate key pair; execution can compromise the worker node.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
