VNC session tampering via untrusted RSA keys
Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026
Insufficient data-authenticity verification in Devolutions Remote Desktop Manager allows man-in-the-middle attackers to tamper with VNC sessions. The IronVNC client automatically accepts an untrusted VNC server RSA key during RSA-AES authentication instead of prompting the user to verify it. Exploitation requires a Windows VNC connection using RSA-AES and an attacker positioned on its network path, enabling interception and modification of session content.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
