Unauthenticated SSRF via unsafe reciprocal-link fallback
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
SSRF in Community Events Project Link Library 7.8.8 through 7.9.5 allows remote attackers to probe internal services via submitted URLs. Reciprocal-link validation retries a rejected safe request with an unprotected fetch, so the supplied destination is contacted without an internal-host restriction. The site must publish the public link-submission form and enable reciprocal-link validation; response differences reveal whether an internal service answered.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
