Reflected XSS via unescaped directory link parameters
Published Sep 25, 2026 · Updated Sep 25, 2026
Reflected XSS in Community Events Project Link Library before 7.9.6 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via crafted directory links. Front-end directory pages insert the link_tags and link_price parameters into sort and breadcrumb link URLs without output escaping. A visitor, including a logged-in administrator, must open the crafted directory URL; the injected script then runs in that visitor's browser context.
