Unauthenticated customer-file disclosure via missing ownership check
Published Oct 5, 2026 · Updated Oct 5, 2026
Missing authorization in File Uploads Addon for WooCommerce 1.7.2 through 1.7.5 allows remote attackers to download other customers' files. The customer-file download handler does not verify that a requester owns the associated upload before serving a requested filename; the later release adds exact file and access-key checks. Exploitation requires knowledge or a successful guess of an uploaded filename, and the disclosed content is limited to customer files handled by the plugin.
