Log deletion via tokenless administrative GET requests
Published Oct 12, 2026 · Updated Oct 12, 2026
CSRF in OTRS and OTRS Community Edition administrative actions allows remote attackers to delete DBUpdate logs through a forged request. DBUpdateLogCleanUp accepts GET requests without validating a ChallengeToken, allowing a malicious page to initiate cleanup through an administrator's browser. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit the page; deletion affects existing DBUpdate log entries, and the reported export endpoints do not directly disclose response contents across origins.
