CVE-2026-78306

Wireless takeover via unauthenticated Bluetooth DUML commands

Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026

Missing authentication in affected DJI drone firmware allows physically proximate attackers to alter wireless settings and interrupt links. The Bluetooth DUML command interface accepts unauthenticated writes to Wi-Fi parameters and commands that restart or disable wireless interfaces. Bluetooth proximity is required; replacing the PSK enables internal Wi-Fi access, while destructive commands disconnect control, video, and telemetry links.
