Server crash via unbounded RDB property count
Published Oct 9, 2026 · Updated Oct 9, 2026
Stack overflow in FalkorDB before 4.18.4 allows remote attackers to crash the server via a crafted RDB replication stream. The _RdbLoadEntity function in the RDB graph decoders uses an unbounded entity property count to size two thread-stack arrays, then fills them with attacker-supplied values. Exploitation requires Redis replication-command access, including passwordless instances; arbitrary code execution is reported as a potential consequence.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
