Arbitrary file overwrite via traversal download paths

Path traversal in Apache Ant before 1.10.18 allows attackers to overwrite files through malicious ftp or scp download paths. FTP.getFile and the scp receive handlers resolved server-supplied relative names without ensuring the resulting files remained under the destination directory. Exploitation requires a malicious or machine-in-the-middle server, with trusted server identity for scp or ftps, and writes with the Ant user's permissions.
