Administrator credential disclosure via deep logging
Published May 5, 2026 · Updated May 5, 2026
Sensitive-data logging in the Ricoh Embedded App for PaperCut Hive before 2.2.0 allows remote authenticated users to obtain device passwords. When Deep Logging is enabled, the app writes administrative credentials in plaintext to diagnostic logs after an authorized user authenticates at the device. Administrative Hive portal access is required to enable logging and retrieve the logs, exposing other administrators' credentials for impersonation or printer reconfiguration.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
