Protected-field disclosure via unauthorized aggregate queries
Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026
Insufficient access control in Ash AI before 1.0.3 allows remote authenticated users to read protected fields through aggregate queries. AshAi.Tool.Execution.execute_read/4 creates an ad hoc Ash.Query.Aggregate and returns its raw result after checking only that the named field is public, without enforcing the actor's field policy. Reachability requires an exposed Ash AI read tool, a public field restricted for the calling actor, and permission to invoke the tool.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
