CVE-2026-78203Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-client template disclosure via unchecked template ID

Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026

Authorization bypass in Ghostwriter before 7.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to disclose other clients' report templates. ReportTemplateSwap loads a caller-supplied sequential primary key and assigns the resulting template without checking its client against the report's project. Exploitation requires a regular authenticated account with an editable report and a foreign client-scoped template; generated reports expose that template's letterhead, boilerplate, methodology, and custom logic.
