Database manipulation via injectable book ID
Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026
SQL injection in editbooks.php in itsourcecode.com Library Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to alter database queries. The handler passes the attacker-controlled ID parameter into database processing without adequate neutralization, allowing injected SQL syntax to change the intended statement. A low-privileged application account and network reachability are required; the published assessment limits the resulting confidentiality, integrity, and availability effects.
