CVE-2026-78174Network attack vector

Administrator account takeover via logged session tokens

Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026

Session hijacking in WatchGuard Dimension 2.0 through 2.3.0 allows remote authenticated users to take over administrator accounts. The Web UI diagnostic logger records active session identifiers without redaction, and Dimension Administrators can retrieve the resulting log. Exploitation requires low-privileged Dimension Administrator access and a concurrently logged-in Super Administrator whose token can be replayed.
