Database access via unsanitized login parameter
Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026
SQL injection in Sales and Inventory System 1.0 allows attackers to access and alter database data through the User login parameter. The processlogin.php handler inserts the User value into a SQL query without adequate validation or parameter binding, so SQL syntax changes the query. The public report says valid credentials are required, while the CNA metrics require none; exploitation can disclose or tamper with database data and interrupt service.
