Authenticated service interruption via unchecked Profile copy
Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 24, 2026
Stack-based buffer overflow in the HiPER 1250GW HTTP handler through 3.2.7-210907-180535 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt service. The /goform/aspRemoteApConfTempSend handler passes the attacker-controlled Profile value to strcpy without enforcing the destination stack buffer's size. A valid management session is required, and an oversized request interrupts the appliance's network services.
