Unauthenticated code execution via widget callable invocation
Published Sep 12, 2026 · Updated Sep 12, 2026
Code injection in The Events Calendar 6.17.3 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute server code through crafted legacy-widget blocks. A plain-array widget classes map bypasses is_safe_widget_instance() and reaches the callable sink in Element_Classes::parse_array(). Exploitation requires comments on tribe_events posts and a submitted comment containing the crafted block; processing the event page then runs attacker-selected code.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
