Authenticated stock-alert unsubscription via unchecked ownership
Published Aug 27, 2026 · Updated Aug 27, 2026
Authorization bypass in MultiVendorX Notifima before 3.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to unsubscribe arbitrary stock-alert customers. The unsubscribe REST handler trusts a caller-supplied subscription identifier and applies the unsubscription operation without confirming that the record belongs to the caller. Subscriber-level access is sufficient, and exploitation stops restock alerts for chosen customers without exposing or changing other account data.
