CVE-2026-78074Network attack vector

Unauthenticated extension deletion via missing authorization

Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

Improper access control in free miniOrange Joomla extensions allows remote attackers to uninstall arbitrary installed extensions. A missing authentication check in an undisclosed extension-deinstallation handler processes unauthenticated requests as authorized removal actions. Only free editions in the published affected ranges are exposed, and successful exploitation deletes chosen extensions and can interrupt site functionality.
