Anonymous cart tampering via inherited save task
Published Sep 3, 2026 · Updated Sep 3, 2026
Authorization bypass in J2Store 1.0.0 through 3.3.21, 4.0.0 through 4.0.21, and 4.1.0 through 4.1.6 allows remote attackers to alter cart records. The carts view's wildcard ACL exposes FOF's inherited save task, while front-end format=raw requests bypass its back-end-only CSRF check. Anonymous callers can supply user_id, session_id, or an existing row ID to create or overwrite another cart record.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
