CVE-2026-78055Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via unsanitized course parameter

Published Aug 23, 2026 · Updated Aug 23, 2026

Cross-site scripting in SourceCodester Class and Exam Timetabling System 1.0 allows remote attackers to execute scripts via the course parameter. BSIT2.php places the course value into an HTML response without contextual output encoding, causing crafted input to be interpreted as active script. Exploitation requires a victim to open the affected response; the script runs in that user's browser context and can alter page content or perform session-authorized actions.
