Subscriber-level account takeover via arbitrary user selection
Published May 28, 2026 · Updated May 28, 2026
Missing authorization in DynamiApps Frontend Admin 3.29.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to take over administrator accounts. The Edit-User flow trusts an arbitrary user_id query value and submits administrator profile fields without verifying that the requester can edit the selected account. Subscriber-level access and an empty Roles setting are required; an attacker can replace the password or email address and assume administrator control.
