Credential disclosure via unprotected configuration export
Published Aug 31, 2026 · Updated Sep 1, 2026
Cleartext credential storage in Ebyte NE2-D11 Firmware 9013-2-17 allows remote attackers on adjacent networks to recover credentials. The configuration-export function places administrative credentials and other sensitive settings in the exported file without adequate protection. The attacker must obtain that file from the adjacent network; recovered credentials grant access to the device or similarly configured systems.
