Live telemetry disclosure via hardcoded MQTT credentials
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Hard-coded credentials in Bransys ELD before 11.00.00 on Android and before 1.1.54 on iOS allow remote attackers to read live device data. The mobile clients embed shared MQTT credentials that authenticate to an affected broker and expose real-time data for every active device across connected carriers. No prior authentication or user interaction is required; access is limited to reading broker data, with no reported ability to alter it or interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
Activity data is delayed. The latest report is Sep 28, 2026.
