Remote code execution via indirect prompt injection
Published Oct 15, 2026 · Updated Oct 15, 2026
Prompt injection in jxxghp MoviePilot 3.1.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute OS commands through the AI assistant. ExecuteCommandTool accepts model-generated commands and a model-settable confirmation flag that bypasses its safety denylist, allowing instructions in untrusted external content to reach the shell. Exploitation requires an administrator's assistant to process attacker-controlled content; commands execute with the MoviePilot process's permissions.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
