Authenticated code execution via retained PHP extension
Published Sep 18, 2026 · Updated Sep 18, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in MacWarrior ClipBucket V5 before 5.5.3-#182 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code. FileUpload::manageFile() validates image MIME data but leaves the attacker-supplied .php extension unchanged when saving the photo. Photo-upload access and PHP-FPM handling of the stored file are required; retrieval then runs code with the web server process privileges.
