CVE-2026-77915Network attack vectorHinoki check available

Administrator account creation via re-enabled registration route

Published Aug 24, 2026 · Updated Aug 29, 2026

Authentication bypass in rConfig Core 8.0.0 through 8.2.9 allows remote attackers to create Administrator accounts through registration. The second Auth::routes() call in routes/web.php re-registers POST /register, while the controller leaves the role unset and the database defaults it to Admin. Without an existing account, remote attackers gain administrative access to stored device credentials, user data, and API token issuance.
