Local-network file disclosure via unauthenticated HTTP server
Published Sep 14, 2026 · Updated Sep 14, 2026
Information disclosure in Gallery - Private Photo Vault 1.0.41 allows remote attackers on the local network to read external-storage files. The app starts an unauthenticated HTTP server on TCP port 8080 that serves files and directory listings from Android external storage without enforcing access control. Exposure requires network reachability to the Android device, and the disclosed behavior establishes file reading and directory enumeration but not file modification.
