CVE-2026-7788Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Arbitrary file access via unchecked path joins

Published May 5, 2026 · Updated May 5, 2026

Path traversal in Axle-Bucamp MCP Docusaurus Toolkit allows remote attackers to read, modify, or delete files outside its docs root. The update_document, continue_document, delete_document, and get_content functions join attacker-controlled path values to DOCS_DIR without resolving the result or enforcing containment. Exposure requires access to the MCP tools or API wrappers, and filesystem effects are limited to files readable or writable by the service process.
