CVE-2026-77827

Local privilege escalation via writable unquoted service path

Published Sep 8, 2026 · Updated Sep 8, 2026

Local privilege escalation in Maono Link 3.8.13 allows local users to gain elevated privileges through the MaonoAiServices service. The Windows service uses an unquoted search path while standard users can write to C:\ProgramData\Maono, allowing a planted executable to run with the service privileges. A standard Windows account with local access is required, and successful exploitation permits reading or modifying data with elevated service rights.
