Sensitive-data disclosure via A2A DNS rebinding
Published Sep 4, 2026 · Updated Sep 4, 2026
Server-side request forgery in IBM ContextForge MCP Gateway 1.0.8 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data. The A2A invocation path validates an endpoint before use but can connect after its DNS answer changes, allowing the outbound request to reach an internal service. A user with A2A invocation access and control of the endpoint's DNS can retrieve internal or cloud metadata through the gateway.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
